Jeff has been active in community since moving to AZ in 2012, serving on his local School Board, volunteering at his local social service nonprofit, financially supporting nonprofits on the east side of Pinal County, and in Casa Grande; and pitching in on improvement projects throughout the area.
Semi-retired, he immediately got involved by becoming a Precinct Committee Person to get to know the people and the issues in his new home town and surrounding areas. His passion for kids and desire to apply his business experience to the education system got him elected twice to his local school board, where he currently serves.
He has developed many relationships with State and local officials over the years, has been attending Chamber of Commerce and business policy meetings all over the southern AZ region. He has followed the Pinal Board of Supervisor's meetings on line and in person for more than six years, and attends Pinal Partnership meetings where he connects with city and town officials from around the County.
As a candidate for Pinal County Supervisor in District 4 which spans the southern part of Pinal from east to west and up through Arizona city, and Maricopa city, Jeff has been out in the community for the past two years meeting the people who also live here, learning about their love of the place and their challenges.
Jeff and his wife started their family in Southern California, moved to Seattle, then made the move south again to their final destination of the sunny Southwest. They chose the eastern side of the County to enjoy the wide open spaces of the State Trust Lands around Rail X and the beautiful mountain trails and landscapes of the Catalina Mountains and Oracle. Their adult children always enjoy escaping on a vacation to this amazing part of the country!
He and his wife, Barbara, look forward to being actively involved in this southern Arizona community for decades to come!
